Ford May Announce Electric Car at Detroit Auto Show

Next week's Detroit Auto Show may feature a surprise from Ford: the company's first electric car.

Motor Authority carried the first report of the car. According to MA, Ford will use the auto show to "reveal plans for a new electric sedan that is scheduled to go on sale in 2011 and is likely to be based on the next-generation global Focus sedan."
